Unidentified “structures” pulling on the universe

The current theory of the universe describes a Big Bang, followed by an ever increasing expansion of the universe due to dark energy. Anything outside the universe consists of the same space-time. Instead, researchers at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland claim that the universe is racing towards unknown, supermassive clumps or structures out beyond our visible universe. If this new theory holds true, then the universe is no longer everything, and we will be closing in on a multiverse philosophy.
